KPA

"Increasing the awareness of the pressing need for organ donation and improving knowledge of kidney disease"

The KPA is affiliated to the national kidney Federation and we work together to promote renal matters.

Their main aim is to provide funding for projects that benefit the patient community as a group focusing on non-medical support across the renal units and clinics of Shropshire.

They raise funds through organised events. The monies raised are channelled to meet anticipated costs arising from patient welfare purchases (TV and sound systems, cassette players and CD players.) 

They communicate with the patient/carer members on matters relating to Renal and the Association, including: Increasing the awareness of the general public to pressing need for organ donation, improving the publics knowledge of kidney disease, through pamphlet distribution and information meetings.
